King
Re: ..and now, Time for Lara to go, says Holding Cool, wonder what the rest of the world will say about this one now. It was pretty silly of Ian Chappell to compare Lara to Tendulkar as Lara has stumbled more times than Tendulkar from what I know. It is much worse when your own calls for your head. Link to comment
Bumper
Re: ..and now, Time for Lara to go, says Holding Lara will retire from ODIs anyways after the world cup. Lara is as big a choker as anyone else in the crunch. The only batsman who comes up with performances worthy of his greatness in key games is Ricky Thomas Ponting. Link to comment

He has the advantage of playing after the openers that do well more often than not and also knowing that the guys after him are not chokers ! Link to comment

King
Re: ..and now, Time for Lara to go, says Holding Lara did bash the former greats like Robers, Lloyd just recently. He also talks plenty but doesn't back it up with performance when there is a need. Gayle's failures is not helping Lara of course. If Gayle fires West Indies will usually win. Unfortunately for WI Gayle doesn't fire frequently. He is like Sehwag for India. Link to comment
Bumper
Re: ..and now, Time for Lara to go, says Holding Inzamam-ul-Haq Inzi never did well in the world cup (barring couple of games in the 92 world cup). I dont think he's done that great in the ICC CT either. In must win games, i cant think beyond Ponting amongst the current greats, who has delivered consistently. Link to comment

They are the ones who make WI winners or losers. Gayle made a huge difference during the Champions trophy. His no show here, really makes WI look like a minnow. On the positive side, atleast this makes, India look better than Pakistan on paper :hic: Link to comment
