If you open the link youll know 1) Who B Raman is. 2) Why i opened this thread in CC. Now sod off.

There are sections to open threads and you should be careful not to open threads in wrong places.

Macj, while all of us want posters to get involved in passionate, intense debates, getting unnecessarily personal and taking cheap-shots is an absolute NO-NO here. And this isn’t the first time you have indulged in this sort of unprovoked abuse. Please understand that, if this pattern continues, you may have to forego the privilege of posting here.

I didnt even know the extent of the Mizoram issue till now. I am not going to judge you but don't you think that is a grave problem faced by India? That its citizens, and you must be one of the more educated citizens, do not have enough knowledge on the challenges faced by India, both current and historical? For all the differences that B. Raman is trying to portray he has missed out on a very big dissimilarity. SWAT valley is very much inside the heart of Pakistan, Mizoram is not. An average Pakistani, atleast middle class and higher up, have spent some of their vacations at SWAT valley. Mizoram inspite of being extremely beautiful does not get visited by anyone else apart from the residents of the Seven Sister states. When was the last time you heard a fellow Tamilian take a trip to Mizoram?? My point is that there are states/regions in India which are essentially just a geographical entity to Indians. We dont go there, we dont know what its like living there, we dont realize the history and challenges etc etc. Our eyes open up only when we hear the P word (Pakistan) or C word (China), meddling in India's internal affair. It is remotely connected to the whole discussion of one nation one language and I wont like to drag that in but I would definitely want Indians to start looking at the entire nation as their own and not merely their own state. xxx

And If I were really ‘doing favors for my pal’, I wouldn’t be respectfully requesting you to tone down the rhetoric in your posts. I would have long edited it or handed you an infraction for being abusive. And just so that you know, your post does qualify for such action. We don’t want you NOT to post or debate, we’re just requesting you to do it in a respectful, impersonal manner. How hard can it be?

Not to be a pedant but let me ask you, if you post a link to an article which is very long (thus the link) and the guy doesnt even open it and asks who is this or what is this about wouldnt you get a tad irritated? Anyways its your board , guess I have dont really have a choice ill just do what you ask.
