Rahul Mahajan is pathetic. Pramod Mahajan's daughter Poonam Mahajan was denied a loksabha ticket due to internal differences within the party and with Shiv sena.

I did not know that .. I thought she got the ticket and won the elections .. I heard some girl named Mahajan winning from BJP and I thought it was Pramod Mahajan's daughter .. Shiv Sena was one of the major reasons for BJP failure in Maharastra and I think it will continue .. MNS is growing and will cut Shiv Sena votes in the future too(I dislike both parties anyways as they play regionalism card) ... NDA might also break apart soon .. Nitish Kumar has blamed BJP for NDA's failure in this elections and he is rethinking of continuing his ties with BJP/NDA .. another NDA component RLD is seeking to join the UPA instead and Ajit Singh is supposedly looking for an appointment with Congress leaders today ... the problem with BJP is that they cannot kick out Shiv Sena from Shiv Sena as it is more loyal than the other constituents of NDA .. but Shiv Sena will keep on bullying NDA because they believe in their superiority in Maharastra compared to the central leadership

well if u talk abt loyalty, they are loyal from quite long time now. But had Mr. Sharad Pawar's party NCP won many seats & had congress not successful in getting the majority, IMO Shiv sena & MNS would have supported Pawar just for the PM candidate. But this was not to happen & congress got the majority & now they are boss, can play on their own terms.

Not being a sore loser. Just saying it how I see it. Gandhi name is just to strong. Many people just vote for the family and do not look at poilicies' date= performance etc. BJP simply cant compete against gandhi clan. Before they had a non indian gandhi winning now they have an indian gandhi in rahul they will be unstoppbale. Yes you may have voted congress for ressons other then surname but the masses flocked to vote for the royal family of india.I see little hope for any other contenders. I repeat they got a foreigner a non indian, gave it name gandhi and the election was won. Thats how powerful a draw the surname is. Now they have the indian rahul with his smile and wave flanked by priyanka the masses wiil vote in droves for them, no matter how the country does or what BJP do. I maintain the gandhi family dog could win the election.

I dont think so , gone are the days where people used to think in the same line. Now the people are voting for those who are capable of running thr Govt. As i had posted earlier, at our place Jamshedpur Arjun Munda a BJP candidate won but a Huge margin .Muslim , Hindus , christans , Sikhs all voted for him , because he had worked immensly to give us a better soceity while he was in power as a CM . My Parents who are old they personally travelled for abt 10 kms to vote for him . We all need those candidates who can work for us and give us a better place and country . Who the hell is bothered abt BJP or congress , if we get a peaceful country with basic needs thats enough for us. So all these idiotic things like a Hindu voting for a hindu candidate and Muslim for Muslim candidate are slowly dying thankfully.

I dont think so , gone are the days where people used to think in the same line. Now the people are voting for those who are capable of running thr Govt. dude where do u live? have u been to mumbai or maharashtra? I agree the way these parties behave are wrong but there is some logic behind their act. and for god's sake dont blame Maharastrians for falling to these parties strategies. Maharastrians are not so dumb to fall for false reason, there is certainly some part of community which strongly believe that the points which these parties raise are genuine including me. Only the way they choose it to highlight is totally wrong... I condemn that thing.

It is not Marathi Maanus, but Marathi Hindu Manoos. I very much doubt a Muslim, or a Christian, will support SS/MNS in their Marathi angle.

I have never been to Mumbai .. I am from Delhi and frankly speaking the logic put by MNS is that local people from Mumbai have to compete with outsiders for job etc. .. but bhai Mumbai and Delhi are capitals of India and so you cannot expect to have local dominance .. they are the economic and political captals of India respectively and so outsiders will also have a big role in these places ... yes the fight for local people for jobs etc. is a bit more but you also have to accept that there are more jobs etc. in these places compared to any other place in India .. they are centres of India, they will have more jobs, there will be more companies and so there will be more competition for jobs etc. .. even Bangalore has got outsiders applying for job as it is developing .. this is normal phenonmenon which has been going on since thousands of years .. people throng to any city where developement takes place for jobs etc. .. this is not a new phenomenon and this cannot be stopped .. the way in which MNS people beat up outsiders etc. cannot be right for sure ... I dont think anybody in Mumbai deny Maharastrians any job etc. only for them being a Maharastrian and so I dont buy this thory .. every job in India should be based on talent rather than anything else Just check Delhi... it has even higher amount of outsiders in jobs etc. than Mumbai perhaps but I dont see anything wrong in it :hatsoff:

All they care (or at least show so) that they can save their dying marathi language,culture & wanting to provide job preferences to localites which can be seen in other states as well. I dont think there is anything wrong in it if done in a proper way.

I really fail to understand this emphasis of culture, language etc. by different regions including the south .. bhai these things sound irrelevant in the 21st century .. and culture can hardly be defined as it constantly changes .. regarding language I myself believe that english should be made the primary language in India because almost all Indians know it well and it also helps them to interact with the world

there is nothing to laugh about it .. either you accept or do not accept but the reality is that most jobs in India are based on English.. you would hardly find anybody using hindi leave aside local languages in even a govt. job .. so it makes more sense if English is actually made more accessible to all because it is English which ultimately works when you grow up and join any job etc. I have personally never seen anybody using any other language except English in any job .. frankly speaking most people forget to write Hindi or local languages when they grow up .. they can only speak and cannot write and thats a fact .. most of my friends forget to write hindi properly even when they are still in college .. so English is more effective and so it should be taught properly and as early as possible Moreover in the south states, they do not speak and many do not even understand hindi but know english quite well .. so english is the only common language in India and so I still believe it should be given top priority from primary schools .. anyways english is easier to learn and write than most other languages :winky:

I agree that English is business lang everywhere...but does that mean to dump your own languages & they are good for nothing? what kinda person are you dude? I am not saying about dumping your own language but I am saying about being practical .. English is used in all jobs etc. and hindi or local languages only remain oral languages rather than written languages .. so English should be given a lot of priority and thats it .. they should start teaching both English and Hindi/local language since primary classes .. English is not taught as strongly at many schools and so those students mainly lag behind .. so I am just being practical thats it :hatsoff:

If so, then BJP need not even bother contesting the next elections for they will be utterly wiped out. Narendra Modi should be the first choice. If not then Sushma Swaraj is fine. But Rajnath and MMJ should be avoided at all costs. For now it seems LKA is forcibly being retained as leader of opposition to check any mad scramble for it among the juniors.
