MUMBAISKIPPER
It's the oldest rivalry in cricket..Ashes.Who will Ashes 2009?I am supporting England. Link to comment
JayStarz
I don't see England winning it, apart from good bowling performances probably from Sidebottom. Link to comment
MUMBAISKIPPER
but Australia is not the same as it was in 2005 or 2007.Australia minus warne,McGrath,Gilly,Langer and co. is pretty vulnerable. Link to comment

What do you think the starting XI's would be? Link to comment

Guest Gunner
I am expecting to see the ozzies use their enforcer Mitchell Johnson to break a couple of Englishmen's hands and faces.:--D For the first time in my life and I don't quite know why I have this overwhelming love for the ozzies. The poyz were great champions. Link to comment
MUMBAISKIPPER
Yeah..I admire Australia for it's never say die attitude. But as regards Ashes,I have always supported England. The joy of watching OZs getting thrashed is unmatched. But I hardly experienced any joy except Ashes 2005. Link to comment

The attitude of the pomz plain sucks. Link to comment
Sourav Ganguly
^^ Yes people like Geraint Jones and Collingwood who played in just one game scoring 17 runs were awarded OBE's. Boycott and others got it at the end of their careers after they had achieved something Link to comment
MUMBAISKIPPER
3-1 to the aussies 2-1 England..if freddie and KP fire. Link to comment
hassan_113
Jacques Katich Ponting M.Hussey M.Clarke Symonds Haddin Lee Johnson Tait Bollinger substitutes: S.Clark Watson Shaun Marsh David Hussey David Warner C.White Nope, you got it wrong. It is going to be Hughes, Katich, Ponting, Hussey, M.Clarke, Watson, Haddin, Lee, Johnson, Clark, Hauritz. In my opinion, I'd drop Lee and have Siddle. That'd give them 90mph Siddle who's actually good, Johnson left-arm fast, Clark ideal for English conditions, Watson and a spinner, Hauritz. I might even consider Hilfenhaus during series who can swing it. Link to comment
Anakin
I'd like to see England win it, but that's very unlikely unless KP plays really well and then the bowlers do their part. Link to comment

Sourav Ganguly
2-1 England..if freddie and KP fire. 2 people do not win u a test series, especially against ur biggest rivals. last time around, they had Simon Jones, Harmison was bowling well, Trescothick, a good leader in Vaughan along with KP and Fred.
