Football Transfers, Rumours and Speculations

It is likely to be a 4-2-3-1 and Ronaldo gets enough goals for them too, they dont really need an out and out striker. The fact that guys like Gago, Lass Diarra, Benzema, Canales and VDV are likely to be on the bench for much of the season is an indicator of how strong the squad is. Mourinho has stated he is going to give Canales a good amount of playing time, particularly whilst Kaka is out. Pedro Leon is another good signing, not widely known as such but from all accounts a good buy. Pepe is back from injury which should boost them defensively. And then the Mourinho factor. This should be a good season for Real. Mean while Milner signs for City! Good buy, but at least two or three too many new players for Man City this summer. Of all their buys Id say Milner, Boateng, Kolarov were necessary/value adding. Any more than three and it gets hard for a team to settle. Not getting Balotelli and letting Bellamy stay on would have been wise. Barca were stupid to sell Yaya, he is much better than Busquetes IMO, but not spanish so hes benched. Similarly a bit stupid to let Silva go to City, he could have been a cheaper-if-slightly-less-better option than Fabregas. More versatile than Fab too as he can slot into the front 3.

£24 million is a lot of money for a CDM to turn down by Barca. Coupled with that, the move could have been triggered by Yaya's brother, Toure, plus $$$s. At the EOD, all those good players who departed Champions League bound clubs to join Man City are there for one thing - M O N E Y. I am tired of hearing the bs - new challenge, dream, trophies, blah, blah, blah

Liverpool set to loan out £20m Italian Alberto Aquilani http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/l/liverpool/8931587.stm This is feckin hilarious after the hype this guy got last year. He was supposed to replace Xabi at Pool and now he himself is getting loaned. Just shows what disatrous transfer policy Rafa managed during his tenure at Pool. He is left them in shambles.

Zlatan's agent rejected the claims and said his client is staying put at Barca, but you'd definitely think that Zlatan's going somewhere at least after this year.

Villa does tend to drift in from out wide on the left, so they can play him Ibra and Messi in a front three. On paper that sounds awesome. I do hope Ibra has a great seasons this year Juve sign Milos Krasic as well, good pacy right attakcing Midf from CSKA Moscow. They need a left back and possibly a striker and Juve are looking good, just need to get the results on pitch!!

Sebastien Squillaci from Sevilla may be on his way to the Emirates.
French & Sevilla defender Sebastien Squillaci definitely on his way to Arsenal today or tomorrow. In other rumours - Arsenal also lining up bids for the Dutch & Ajax keeper - Maarten Stekelenburg and their defender - Jan Vertonghen . Barcelona lining up a bid for Javier Maschareno and Roy Hodgson looking to bring in David Trezeguet from Juve, while Dirk Kuyt may got to AC.

Yeah, the brazilian boss had advised Neymar to continue his education at Santos. Would've been a quality addition to Chelsea's squad, alas not to be.

Its just if Real are interested at all......:dontknow: Although getting Ramos when Ivanovic is hitting his staps doesnt make sense

Well the other thing is. If Ancelotti wanted him, its not like he would have decided a day or two ago, there was an opportunity to do a swap & cash deal with Carvalho.
