[/quote'] There are probably quite a few programs to make the banners. I use photoshop. So first thing is to get a copy of a graphics program like photoshop. Adobe lets you try it out for a month for free or...:winky: There are other free ones for Linux like Gimp. Then you basically gotta learn the basics i.e layers. To cut the players, you should google about the quick selection tool, pen tool. There are a lot of tutorials on youtube itself. If you want to learn in detail, then get one of Lynda.com photoshop instructional series. Then you'll be able to master it fully. And a lot of it is experimental - atleast for me - :cantstop:

Start learning step by step. Start with these two titles i.e if you get cs4 lynda.com Photoshop CS4 Essential Training lynda.com Photoshop CS4 One-on-One: Fundamentals :two_thumbs_up: Yea, I can see the layers thingy going on there.
