King Tendulkar
Lets speculate who he is referring to? My money is on Kaif:giggle: Link to comment
youngindia
when analysing the t20 failure, i talked about how the team is heavily dependent on three players outside asia. the only real senior is yuvraj.other mid seniors are gambhir and dhoni.karthik so-so. Right now, gambhir is absent from the party.dhoni is doing better in the one day version.but still heavy dependency on yuvraj is there. In this situation, playing both yusuf(a non specialist) and jadeja(raw talent) is foolish and counter productive, with options like vijay, uthappa, nayar, these guys need to be given chances to find their feet.they are improtant for te future. jadeja can come back with one or two more year of experience.he is right now not at all ready to make an impact. ofcourse all new guys will struggle in these alien conditions.but its ebtter to err on proper batsmen than going with a squad threading on thin ice. when wickets fall early due to swinging conditions or there is a huge chase like 300+, this weakness will be ripped open. it was obvious with 80-8 yesterday.or in the t20 failures. dhoni has to plug this gap.or i don't know how many more matches we are going to lose. ps-i am reposting it as originally there was a disconnection timeout. Lord
Relax dude, this is a second string team.Once Sehwag,Sachin,Raina return we'll start winning again.as u said.batting depends almost entirely on Yuvrraj.Gambhir has lost form at wrong time.almost everything is against us. Link to comment
youngindia
infact i am glad that others are getting the chance in absence of sehwag and tendulkar.but it cannot be yusuf and jadeja. it has to be proper specialist batsmen. Link to comment

Yusuf is a proper specialist batsman.he is aggresive but not a slogger.nthis is ODI cricket.we need allrounders n batsmen who can step on the gas. unfortunately we dont have many options atm in Domestic cricket Link to comment

youngindia
Yusuf is a proper specialist batsman.he is aggresive but not a slogger. not quite. specialist batsmen have a stronger defence, better game and better biomehanics. i can evaluate a batsman's defence since i was well coached. he is not as loose as afridi but not as reliable as the specialists either. youngindia
???? In another thread you said Jadeja will be the next Jasuriya:(( he is being thrown into the deep end for sake of a extra bowling option.all teams have a self destructive fascination with allrounders. he is not ready to make an impact as of now. Give him time, nobody(except SRT) is a finished product as soom as he walks into international cricket.he'll get better Link to comment

Yusuf's defence is not that bad,its still pretty good.i dont think Yuvraj's defence is much stronger.n it certainly was no better than Yusuf wen Yuvraj came onto the scene.give Yusuf some time Link to comment
