Laxman haters. All you Laxman haters can go take a hike. Laxman is a class player. Making him a Vice Captain is a great step forward. This will give Laxman a hint that the Indian team management has his back and he can perform like he use to. Dont undermine Laxmans success and dont compare him to Sehwag, Sehwag is a different type of player. Laxman is an integral member of the test squad. Dont doubt him.

Re: Sehwag vs Laxman Don't think there are many laxman haters here. But there is a question as to why he should be made VC given that his scoring average in the last 25 tests is in the mid 30s. Hopefully it gives him more confidence, knowing that he will be part of the playing XI for all the tests.

Re: Sehwag vs Laxman that was just a move made by the selection to show him he needs to be less complacent in the team, but then he came back with a crucial hundred and fifty against West Indies, followed by many key contribution towards partnerships, people fail to realize that if it wasnt for him we would of good whooped in that last test series against West Indies. He scored 20 and 30's but that was because of his unselfish nature to be an anchor and let the other more attacking players score runs since hes a senior player in the team.
