Roy Halladay

Just watching the Blue Jays/Yankee a-holes game in between the Angels/Red Sox (ORTIZ - WHOO!) game. Roy Halladay as usual is ****ing amazing. Why on earth is Toronto so poorly placed and so average despite having such an awesome pitcher? (Not a thread to make fun of the Blue Jays for once, but it is staggering - and baffling - how such a quality pitcher can be part of such a mediocre lineup.)

Having one solid player does not solve the problems. Blue jay's bullpen have some mediocre to rookie pitches, whereas our batters are in absolute shambles and seldom show up to the party. Vernon Wells has been our biggest dissapointment this season. Jays certainly are cash strapped and are not known for spending big bucks. The reason why Jays want to sell Halladay is to increase the bench strength, which looks absurd but it might help us in the long term. If we manage to get 3-4 rookie players (pitchers/baseman) then I wouldn't mind trading Halladay now. It also does not help us being the same division with Bosox and Yanks, because they are big game players and don't hesitate in lashing money out. P.S: Had you bastards not stolen Jason Bay, we probably would have bought him. Return bay to us for being a Canadian :D

Carlson and Posada had some heated words exchanged. Posada charged towards carlson and Rod barajas came into rescue for Carlson. All the yanks and Jays were on the field, throwing punches at each other. Posada was thrown out of the game and Carlson left the field with a huge scar/bump on his head.

[/quote'] Yeah, you guys have your work cut out in this div... even the Orioles aren't that bad (don't laugh!). Says something about the Eastern div that the runner-up right now (and the likely Am League Wildcard this season) - has a better percentage/winning record than the BEST teams in the Central division and all the leaders of the National league!
