atul
Apart from azami 2 other member took oath in Hindi and one in English. MNS did not disturb their proceeding. Azami is a symbol of dawood supporter Muslim and belong to SP whose leaders have so called vested interest in Hindi speaking population in Mumbai just as Thakery has in Marathi speaking population in Maharashtra especially in the Mumbai. MNS used this opportunity to score against Shivsena not Hindi speaking people since Mumbai Municipal elections are around the corner. MNS getting all his publicity especially from all Hindi news networks which are asking to file deshdrhi case against him if that is the case then all Tamilnadu politicians will face same charge and lalu/mulayum/amar. But if you go by just concluded Assembly and Parliament elections most of the Marathi manoos was behind congress/NCP. Mumbai’s multi language color or even in larger part of Maharashtra is due to Marathi people’s adaptability to other speaking community even after major share of opposition from Thakrays through out his political carrier

suraj
I am not sure what surprised me more. a) Bunch of goons, selected by Marathi janta, who raid the well of a Legislative house and beat around a fellow Member of Parliament on live television. OR b) A history sheeter who has alleged to have done a couple of murders himself and has old ties with Dawood Ibrahim, shouting Jai Hind! xxx Most surprising to me is that India still exists in the shape and form that it does despite all this

DomainK
who are the morons' date=' the politicians or the people who elect them?[/quote'] All. We, the people of India can not blame it all on politicians. If they are bad or are doing bad things, its something every Indian is equally guilty of. nikred
its very easy to misguide poor-uneducated people. The educated ones are no better either. The politicians during elections have target group and they lure them with short term benefits and they gleefully fall into their trap overlooking the bigger picture.
