msb1991 Posted November 23, 2009 Share Posted November 23, 2009 Hi, Cannot comment too much on the political issues raised here, as they tend to be about India, Pakistan and US whereas I tend to concentrate more on UK politics. However, on a broader note, what sort of political ideologies are you? Are you liberal, conservative, socialist, fascist, anarchist, nationalist, etc...and why? Personally, I believe in the conservative ideology, that the individual is finite and limited and so we should move in small, reversible steps and trust tradition. However, we should not remain still but rather be quick to assess where tradition is flawed and where change is necessary. I disagree with liberal and socialist views that the individual is this, that or whatever, as a person is merely flawed, by definition and nothing else - to say that all people are individualistic or all people are communitarian is an oversimplification, as all people are vastly significant from every other.
