Though congratulations, India have played very well over the past 18 months and are deserved of top spot. Will SA take the number one ranking if they beat England? As per test ranking predictor, SA will have to win the England series at least by 3-0 or 4-0 to overtake India's 124 rating points. And they cannot afford to let England win even one single test. Even a 3-1 win by SA over England would put them at 124 points with India. Dont know how much would that be possible after they lost the ODI series just a few days ago. Moreover, England's test team is better than their ODI side. So, lets wait and see. Hope the British reigns in the SA-England series. :king:

I can hear the screams of agony.

They can cry all they want about home wins, but I'm proud of our strong home record, I wouldn't change our pitches/conditions for any jealous bastard. We've lost a few of our most recent away series against some teams, but again, we've done that by the smallest margins, and have won a Test in those countries. Our refusal to play them was proven to be a fantastic decision when Lanka got peppered with bullets, but deep down, you know the bookies would have placed us as favourites at that time... That said, I do wish we could play them, just to utterly destroy them, and heap more pain on to the sick feeling most of them currently have in their stomachs, looking at these rankings...
