champ
http://www.cricinfo.com/decadereview2009/content/story/440354.html the western people and ICC need to wake and face the reality of new world order that is established .. their dominating days are over .. They are clearly ruffled by the BCCI, IPL et all .. Link to comment
DomainK
There is some serious BS in that article. Link to comment
achilles
Just completed reading this article and can't believe this rubbish made it on cricinfo. I thought they were a neutral source. Wow. Ridiculousness personified. And Gideon, what a two-faced fig. I used to read his articles and I thought he was a decent guy but now he is showing his true colors Link to comment
Sachinism
He takes some serious shots at the BCCI. What people need to realise is if it wasn't for BCCI's money, cricket would be in the sh!ts. Another thing, we have played SL and Pak a lot more than Eng, Aus, NZ, SA and yet this tosspot has the audacity to say "BCCI being so much wealthier than even its near neighbours, Sri Lanka Cricket and the Pakistan Cricket Board, but providing precious little encouragement to them - quite the contrary in the case of Pakistan" Link to comment
Jadoo
"Cede control of IPL and Champions League to ICC":hysterical::hysterical: This guy is an idiot? I have a better solution, why don't ICC cede control to BCCI, that will sort it!! Link to comment
achilles
I agree with you Sachinism. BCCI's money has helped the sport in more ways than one. Jadoo, I believe its quite inevitable :) Link to comment
Dinx - the Jinx
Jealousy written all over this article Link to comment
Sachinism
Lets take a look back when the 'White' cricketing nations were the powers in the game. These guys didn't even want to tour the subcontinent, a great job they did in supporting other nations. Its shocking to see an article like this from Haigh, someone who has followed the game for a long time Link to comment
Zap_Brannigan
Its like me asking the writer to marry someone, provide for that girl but let me "make love" to her. Sure, let the BCCI do all the hardwork but because its an overwhelming success, it should hand it over to ICC because ICC has been an inept organization that cannot make money for itself. champ
he gives solution saying let ICC take control and distribute money .. and just to strengthen his views he refers about Pak and Sl boards and india is not doing much for them .. he is just deceiving ppl .. Link to comment
champ
through this article , we can make out how crap ICC has turned out to be as a governing body .. Link to comment
Zap_Brannigan
he gives solution saying let ICC take control and distribute money .. and just to strengthen his views he refers about Pak and Sl boards and india is not doing much for them .. he is just deceiving ppl .. He is a hypocritical Idiot. Before 98, Aus hardly toured India. Aus and Eng refused to tour SL for a long time. Going back 15 years, these Aussies and English would tour India very little and yet whine about touring. They didnt do anything to support the game but now that India is making more money, they want it for free. Well fk off. If this rubbish is what passes for journalism in Cricket, then Cricket would be better off without these idiots. Link to comment
