THX_1138 Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 true story... i was sawing balsa for a school project back in india some two decades ago. obviously this was my first ever use of a saw, and back then, informer's snow was a major hit. so with that song blasting away, i was sawing out what would be the keel of a balsa wood boat. since the saw had a back n forth motion, i was holding one end with a friend and needless to say, two rookies, listening to a canadian trying to be black was intended for disaster. to save time, the wise ass i am, i tried to brush some of the wood shavings away inbetween strokes, and as a result, the saw caught my left hand's webbing between the thumb and the forefinger. while i stopped, my friend, oblivious and trying to hum the lyrics no one knew, kept dragging the saw and dug a good quarter inch into my flesh. after applying the required bandages, we decided to leave the blood stains on the boat, and christened her 'The Silent Lamb'... (silence of the lamb had just been released and i had watched a 'shemaroo' video bootleg version of it with a bunch of friends).
