It shows the economy is again gaining. Many of the Indian billionaires are also regaining their position as the recession is ending its effect it seems. I remember seeing 4 Indians in the top 10 list itself but it went down drastically during recession and in the list last year. This time it looks better but it might take sometime again to get back at least 3-4 Indians in the world's top 10 richest again. And overall, Carlos Slim has become the world's richest person with net worth above both Bill Gates and Warren Buffet who were the world's richest in the last two years respectively. I always see his citizenship country as India .. his country of residence is always mentioned UK .. so he might not have given up Indian citizenship in all these decades BTW after all these years, Pakis finally get a billionaire as some Mian Muhammed Mansha somehow manage to get 937 rank in the richest list with exact worth of $1 billion :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:

They are both on rank 24 and I think they were rank 26 last year. It seems interesting because both of them are equal partners it seems with same net worth. If they were combined then maybe they would not have been far behind Bill Gates with 35 billion maybe. And they might have been even ahead of Mittal and Ambani. But then if the Ambani brothers were joint then they would have been even closer to Warren Buffet and knocking on the top 3 doors.

This year he has moved a lot ahead since he became perhaps the first billionaire through websites when he entered with 1.5 billion at 750 rank. He has moved significantly ahead this year and is ranked world's 212 richest person and his total worth has increased to 4 billion now. :woot:
