Haiku-ed Review Delhi bruised, battered Bowlers hurt, batsmen exposed Mumbai brought max pain Special Mentions Mumbai Indians: Sachin, Young Turks, Calypso kings For a genius, age is just another increasing number like many of his numerous records, both of which are for mortals like us to fuss about. The genius just plays the same.62 off 32 balls. Minimal fuss, maximum impact. 'Nuff said. Tiwary and Rayudu continued their awesome form from the first game, the former employing brute force and intimidation, while the latter relied on quick feet and a bit of finesse. I like the fact that Sachin sent the 2 youngsters ahead of the 2 WI stars in the batting order, placing his trust on their form. The move paid off, momentum was never lost, and both Pollard and Bravo eased their way into IPL-3.I'm particularly excited for Rayudu, who finally gets to display his potential in front of a larger audience. Pollard and Bravo both got drafted into the playing XI and bolstered the game with their energy and hustle. This is one scary team now. Bravo and Pollard bowled some neat wicket-to-wicket stuff, and Jayasuriya still finds a way to contribute with his skiddy left arm "spin". Delhi Daredevils: Gautham Gambhir His injury is worrisome from various angles. Along with Sehwag, he was the 1 in-form batsmen for DD , not to mention , the skipper. When he had to get off the field, Delhi suddenly found themselves in unfamiliar territory, and Karthik looked a bit lost with the bowling changes and placements, not knowing to arrest the run hemorrhage. Who leads them now? Karthik, the stand-in skipper , or Sehwag, the Indian vice captain? Warner has to get into the team, but does Big Roof Maharoof sit out then? This would be likely with Yo Mahesh coming in. Delhi better hope that Nehra is on the fast track to recovery. Preview of today's match later.

DG, yeah man, they're looking ominous. The thing though is that it's T20, and just about anything can happen. Who would have thought that Delhi would have looked so terrible , right? However, if we are to analyze the teams as such, MI seems to have the best balance of players, most of whom are in a fair bit of form. Maybe they've peaked too soon ? :winky:
