Gunner_Mania Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Every time I bet Manure would score a goal they scored, and I also bet they would win. The day couldn't have ended sweeter :haha:
Guest Hiten. Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 Btw SAF played a masterstroke by playing roon and caught the Germans on backfoot. I had a feeling that Rooney would make an appearance however short because that would force bayern to put all their energy towards him and carving an easy passage for other man u midfielders/strikers. However I did not expect him to be in the starting line up and butt's misjudgement just proved that bayern had sudden change of plans (after seeing rooney in starting line up) and were confident of Rooney leading manure's attack..butt was so sure that Gibson would make that backpass to Rooney and that is why he hardly cared where Gibson was aiming at. Playing half fit Rooney almost paid off but for robben's freak goal. Would be surprised if anyone but bayern and barca face off in final.
Jadoo Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 Man U <---:hysterical::hysterical: SAF shouldn't have played Rooney at all yesterday, as soon as he left the pitch, you could see the Man U players bricking it!!! Wonder what Mourinho will have planned for Barca, if there is anyone who can stop Messi, than it's got to be the Special One, as he did quite successfully when he was at Chelsea.
b555 Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 It appears that Lionel Messi's four-goal performance against Arsenal for Barcelona in the Champions League quarter final had most people drooling. It certainly left Gunners boss Arsene Wenger in awe, as the Frenchman declared Messi to be the world's best after his virtuoso display. And the dazzling performance also made a big impression on Goal.com UK readers in our poll. We asked if Messi's display was the best in the Champions League of the past 10 years. Was it better than Zinedine Zidane’s performance, which included that sensational volley in Real Madrid’s 2-1 victory over Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League final? Did it surpass Ronaldo’s blistering hat-trick at Old Trafford against Manchester United in a 4-3 Real Madrid win, or Ronaldinho’s brilliance in Chelsea’s 4-2 defeat of Barcelona when he found bottom corner without a backlift from outside the box? And who could forget Thierry Henry’s devastating performance as Arsenal beat Inter Milan 5-1 at the San Siro? Well most people, as it happens, because 45.2% thought that the little Argentinian's performance on Tuesday night in the Nou Camp was the best individual Champions League performance in the last 10 years. Around 29.62% of you said that it was not the best performance, while 25.18% said it was hard to say.
b555 Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 semi final schedule: 1: FC Bayern München v Olympique Lyonnais (21 and 27 April) 2: FC Internazionale Milano v FC Barcelona (20 and 28 April)
Gunner_Mania Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 Inter V Barca tonight. How tired are Barca going to be after a 600 mile coach journey? Will it be a disadvantage? Can The Special One stop the Mesmerising One tonight? :hmmm:
Guest Hiten. Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 I really get a feeling that Inter is going to knock out Barca. Should be a gripping contest. Go Jose!

Guest Hiten. Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 Aryan Chelsea Ribbery to miss the finals (that's if Bayern makes it past Lyon) :wall:
Gunner_Mania Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Bayern deserves the Champs tag :hmmmm2: and why exactly? Inter beat Barcelona the best team on the planet at the mo.
Jadoo Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 Lyon to beat Bayern today. :fail: Lyon totally bottled it, Bayern were all over them. Hope inter finish of the job against Barca, would love to see Jose win the CL with quite frankly an over-aged side who many had written off.
