Prabhakar Rao, Vice-President, TNCA, inaugurated the academy. The academy's two chief coaches are former India leg spinner L. Sivaramakrishnan and former Tamil Nadu left-arm spinner D. Vasu. They will be assisted by administrative manager R. Venkatesh, assistant manager T. Karunamurthy and video analyst D. Loganathan. The six members of the first batch are Vikas Mishra (Delhi), Gaurav Jathar, Harmeet Singh (both Mumbai), Manan Sharma (Haryana), Aushik Srinivas (Tamil Nadu) and Ankit Sharma (Madhya Pradesh). The camp will conclude on May 21.
