ViruRulez Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 I never follow You Think You Can Dance properly as nearly all US TV shows are telecast months and often years late in India. But I was just watching TV a few mins ago on AXN here in India when I saw today's episode. They were showing a group dance of the Hindi song "Dholna" performed by the group of girls from the show. I never thought that Bollywood is also entering US mainstream TV but then I searched on google and it seems there have been several Hindi film performances till now. So, I just thought of posting them in this thread as they were really great considering that is not their native dance form. This is the group dance Dholna I am mentioning: eBZjIW4m964 Out of all the Bollywood performances of SYTYCD I saw on youtube, I liked this Om Shanti Om song performed by a black guy and an Asian girl. They were perhaps better or nearly equal to the actual song. BuS78DeNt0M This is another performance on Jai Ho song in the show though I did not think they did that great but quite good still as it is not native to them. P-H6z6m3Y_Q This is another dance by another two dancers and another rendition of Jai Ho in the show. Only perhaps the dress of the girl did not suit the song but overall good dancing. :giggle: -Ee_G6n_V7g l9b776fQ0MM I am actually quite surprised to see such a lot of Bollywood entering into mainstream American shows and hence, I posted the videos. Anyways great work by these guys and some of them were exceptionally well especially the second video with OSO dance.
