Pak_Fan_4_Eva Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 :hatsoff: to Ajmal. Perhaps the best T20 bowler around. Of course bowlers get unlucky at times. Just goes to show they`re also humans:winky:

I was going to bump this thread for the right reasons as I expected him to clean-up the Aussies tail in the final over,,, yup..bad luck
Deleted_User_1 Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 The mishtek that Ajmal made in that last over...... .....was to consistently bowl on Hussey's leg or middle stump or sometimes outside leg. Even when he bowled on the off stump it was slightly short of length. Hussey just swung his bat. As Chappal was saying, Hussey although a good player on the off side, does not have as much power clearing the fence. Long-on to mid-wicket he does. More effective ball would have a really full (he was standing back in his crease) outside the off stump forcing him to hit on the off. I dunno why Pak did not know that or he knew it and just choked.
CSK Fan Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 Did you see the field Afridi had set for Ajmal? All players on off were in the ring. On the leg, everyone was on the boundary. What choice did Ajmal have but to bowl at Hussey's leg?
nballa Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 are you copy pasting stuff off of cricinfo commentary?
Karan114 Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 who cares... bottom line is they lost .. lolzz :dito: Them losing is enough, can't be bothered to analyze the reasons in detail
riya Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 Best over in the world cup, can't stand him for some reason.
Deleted_User_1 Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 are you copy pasting stuff off of cricinfo commentary? No I did not, but I did hear Ian Chappell do live commetary.......:finger: Hindsight is 20/20, but things do not happen by magic. There is a reason Hussey got the better of him. Pitching to his strength did not help Ajmal's cause. Apparently they did not do enough homework on Hussey.

People analyze their past action to get better, although some folks do that to brood.

I don't support them and don't give two shits about why they lost - them losing is enough. You are entitled to spend your time worrying about the reasons Pakistan lost of course, but my concern is for the Indian team only.

It does not hurt to analyze.
