Desi Cartman Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 Bollywood actor Mac Mohan, known for his unforgettable role of Sambha in the super hit film Sholay, died at his Andheri residence yesterday. He was suffering from cancer. Mac Mohan, actress Raveena Tandon’s maternal uncle, acted in about 200 films and mostly played negative roles. He started his career with the film Haqeeqat in 1964. Some of his other films are Zanjeer, Majboor, Rafoo Chakkar, Don, Shaan and Satte Pe Satta. His last film was Journey Bombay to Goa: Laughter Unlimited.

DomainK Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 RIP. 200 movies (according to TOI) is not a joke. Obviously his most famous role ever was Sambha. One scene, one dialog and such fame. His only dialog in Sholay was "pachaas hazaar".
