  1. Can I curse this mofo along with Vada Pav without getting banned? I need to vent out my frustrations.
  2. Why won't I? He used to my second favorite batsman ever after Sachin.
  3. Hoping against hope that he once again starts performing in Tests. A Test century in Australia is definitely a fresh and solid start again.
  4. It's times like these when I desperately want to become a fan again. I'll wait for the series to be over. Kohli, go ahead and conquer the world one last time.
  5. Good knock. We got the lead we wanted. Hope he comes good in the rest of the series. I see light at the end of the tunnel.
  6. Kohli, we want a lead of at least 500 runs.
  7. My octogenarian female neighbour has more chances of doing that.
  8. 40 would be better if our dumb selectors still decide to persist with him.
  9. If only 'King' would have scored just 50 runs, just think where we would have ended today's day of play.
  10. My problem with him is the primary discipline why is picked in the team for - Batting. I can't even fathom to think how the situation would have been if Sachin replicated what Kohli has been doing since 2019.
  11. Yes, second spot for sure. But Kohli has been doing garbage in Tests, the premiere format.
  12. Far better for upcoming and promising youngsters to score ducks. At least we can hope for them to eventually come good and represent India for a long time like both Kohli and Rohit did. What good would a 36 year old and 37 year old batsman scoring ducks and single digit scores do for the team? Yes, despite me wanting both Rohit and Kohli to be dropped immediately, I also want youngsters to emulate them back when they both were at their peaks.
  13. His army on X has been quiet for a considerable amount of time. Same is the case with Babar and Rohit fans. All those fan boys know is to put down other players to flatter their ego. Babar fans compare everything about their hero including his hair style to his pooping positions with Kohli's, while Kohli and Rohit fans keep degrading Tendulkar to derive satisfaction. Nothing better than to see them in agony after being kicked on their balls by their own hero's performances.
  14. Anyways, I've never been a hater simply because a certain player performs better than my favourite player. Despite my annoyance towards him, I'm still supporting Kohli to come good in this series or be dropped for the rest of the Tests. Him performing well means it'll benefit my team. The only thing is I don't want to see him in the Test team after this series. I might not want a certain player in my team, but once he is selected I'll want him to come good. By the way, what type of a ridiculous logic is this that we have won our last 2 Test series in Australia, and can hence afford to lose this one? Is this a joke! Is this how the all conquering Aussie team from the end of the 1999 WC till the end of the 2007 WC believed? Look at that Aussie team. They lost to England in the Ashes of 2005 in the absence of McGrath, and in return chewed that England team to bits and spat away their pieces in the 2006 Ashes.
  15. Even when I was his hardcore fan, it annoyed me like anything when his pimple faced disrespectful teenage fans disrespected Sachin to their heart's content. It's funny they are nowhere to be seen these days.
  16. I would have done that at the start of 2019 if it guaranteed me that he won't lose this touch.
  17. On another note, I've been left so disappointed. I considered him the second best batsman I ever saw after Sachin before 2019. I expected him to end up at the top spot in my list by the time he retired. I was positive he'd end up with 120 international centuries. I really want to meet fans who still want him in the team. I'd like to know their reasons.
  18. Dost log, I dare anyone on the forum to name just 1 Indian player ever that has survived such a long and horrendous bad patch. I don't know if there are any such player before 1970, but since then I can't think of any.
  19. Why? He certainly doesn't enjoy the luxury of never getting dropped. Nor he has been garbage since 2019. Ganguly flopped for basically 3 years (2003, 2004, 2005) with very sporadic good scores in between. What exactly happened? He was first removed as captain and then also booted out from the team. Sure, he deserved every bit of it. This 'King' guy probably believes he is working a government job with no threat to his place in the team. Let's speak about Sachin for a while. I'm sure older posters here remember his bad phase? Let's introspect, he lost his aggressive batting approach in 2004, and plenty of fans wanted him to be dropped because of that. This despite the fact that he averaged 90 in Tests in 2004. It was in 2005 when really struggled because of his injuries and ended up averaging 40 that year. Not bad by any means. He completely struggled from 2006 till the 2007 World Cup. That's around 1.3 years. What happened next? Ian Chappell wrote his article about Sachin questioning a mirror, plenty of fans turned into haters, and what not. Mind you, I'm speaking about the attitude of fans here. BCCI was terrefic with Sachin. Now have a look at the treatment Kohli has received from those set of fans since 2019. Flop, flop, flop .... "King', 'King', 'King' .... just 1 good knock away from finding his nick, blah, bhah, blah!
