Guest Hiten. Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 Keep dropping Yuvraj down the order...Idiots dhoni coming to bat ahead of yuvi was a joke. Harsh was a even biggerjoker for saying dhoni showing vote of confidence in yuvi by sending uv ahead of rohit n Pathan in 18th over loll UV not in form is equivalent to Dhoni in form (in t20s), so no biggie :giggle:

Ranjha Posted May 11, 2010 Author Posted May 11, 2010 UV not in form is equivalent to Dhoni in form (in t20s)' date=' so no biggie :giggle:[/quote'] :haha:
saneindian Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 Yuvi with the license to go for the kill, what did he do. Spanked a full toss straight into the hands of the fielder and walked back to pavillion!!
jprateek50 Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 1. Yuvraj should come one down and be given the license to play his natural game and go for the shots right away. Whats the point of a player like him if you bring him in to bat at 30/3. There are other players who can consolidate. We need to score big tomm and let him bat without pressure and score runs or get out. Not liek we are getting anything out of him right now. OR 2. He should be dropped. ---------------------------------------------------------------- 3. Rohit Sharma or Karitk to open instead of Vijay. ------------------------------------------------------ 4. Dhoni should bat at #4 between Yuvi and Raina followed by Pathan. Does it matter now??

PS: Its not a dig at you but all of us (yes, including me) who think that our line up is better than the current line up. Only when it happens, the teams fails just as much.

Yeah, it is a fair point Zap, and I won't deny that I too indulge in imagining these same hypothetical scenarios. Ultimately a lot of the players have not been good enough in T20I cricket of late and swapping one or two is not going to make a difference, we have to accept that.
Fontaine Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 This thread is hilarious. Rohit Sharma was the opener in last year's WC and only scored 43 runs in three matches in the super 8s with a poor strike rate and you want him to open again? LMFAO!
Ranjha Posted May 12, 2010 Author Posted May 12, 2010 This thread is not hilarious...India had a better opening stand this time around...Yuvraj can't fire from ball 1 in 19th over...Others took more than 20 ball and didn't hit a 4...he should have played at3...played a couple of balls to get in and then go big... Absolutely ridiculous planning by Indian think tank.
Ranjha Posted May 12, 2010 Author Posted May 12, 2010 Does it matter now?? Hmm whats your pt? Nothing matters after is over..You are a day late...Are you always like this?
Ranjha Posted May 12, 2010 Author Posted May 12, 2010 Yuvi with the license to go for the kill' date=' what did he do. Spanked a full toss straight into the hands of the fielder and walked back to pavillion!![/quote'] Big difference between what I suggested...Come again.....
maheshw Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 Rohit Sharma needs more exposure. I think he is the best batsman out of all the young newcomers. He needs to bat higher up the order (Possibly 1-down or even open)
