Your argument is full of bias. If Sachin was so good in 90s , he should have averaged in 60s or 70s in 2000s because of flat tracks and joke bowlers. In 2000s, Ponting,Yousuf,Sangakara & Kallis have out performed Sachin. He doesnt even come in top 5 in last decade. BTW, your arument of Sachin is different because of his 58 average in 90s has lot of loop holes in it. Lets see So, Sachin did well only against WI fast bowlers in 90s. Against all other top bowlers of 90s, Sachin performace is pretty ordinary. Like Yousuf in 2000, Sachin maintainde his average by plundering against weak bowling sides of NZ,Eng & SL in 90s.

If Ponting,Yousuf,Sangakara & Kallis play as many matches as Sachin, they wll will almost same amount of runs & centuries like Sachin.
:hehe: Ponting said "If I had to last 20 years, I would probably be batting in a wheelchair. The number of innings of his I have been able to sit back and watch, I think he is an amazing player. Look at his stats and his records and it's quite incredible for someone to have stayed in the game for 20 years." http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/sports/cricket/top-stories/Can-Ponting-catch-up-with-Sachin/articleshow/5085107.cms Forget about scoring that many runs, modern players can't even imagine lasting that long with such grueling schedule!
