Nova Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 Actually King should have been in Kf6 with White to move next... Sorry wrong picture. WTF...I was working on this for the past 45 minutes....

dial_100 Posted June 1, 2010 Author Posted June 1, 2010 Its not forced while oppn mssed to bring in the Queen.
Dravid Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 h4te is good at forcing moves... you see it, and you u say, **** yea am killing that shyt, and killing that shyt, and in few mins that kneega would be killing you
h4te Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 Its not forced while oppn mssed to bring in the Queen. :whack::whack::whack: :headshake: I am going through some tactics work now, so I'll try to post an interesting puzzle everyday. Here's a really simple one to prime the juices: What is black's best move? (HINT: black can win material)
Jadoo Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 This thread should be moved to the nerd section, coz it clearly ain't chit-chat:headshake:
moumotta Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 :whack::whack::whack: :headshake: I am going through some tactics work now, so I'll try to post an interesting puzzle everyday. Here's a really simple one to prime the juices: What is black's best move? (HINT: black can win material) 1…,Qh7+ 2.Kg1 (forced as 2 Rh3 leads to mate in 4 after 2…, Rd1+, 3 Kh2, Rh1+, 4 Kxh1, Qxh3 followed by Qxg2) 2…, Rxd3
Roshanrocks Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 1…,Qh7+ 2.Kg1 (forced as 2 Rh3 leads to mate in 4 after 2…, Rd1+, 3 Kh2, Rh1+, 4 Kxh1, Qxh3 followed by Qxg2) 2…, Rxd3 If you 1…,Qh7+ then white will d3 to h3 and your black queen is trapped mate
h4te Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 1…,Qh7+ 2.Kg1 (forced as 2 Rh3 leads to mate in 4 after 2…, Rd1+, 3 Kh2, Rh1+, 4 Kxh1, Qxh3 followed by Qxg2) 2…, Rxd3 correct. 1. ... Rh3 is bad. Here is the continuation to win the piece. 1. Qh7+ Kg1 2. Rxd3 Bxd3 3. Qxd3 winning the Bishop.
Mr. Wicket Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 Queen may be pinned, but that wouldn't stop black winning there. Rd3-h3 allows black to respond with Rd5-d1+, forcing the king to h2. Black then plays Rh1+, and white either can take the rook (at which point the black queen takes the white rook, and the pawn can't capture due to a pin from the bishop), or can escape to g3, allowing the black rook to take the white rook.
Roshanrocks Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 correct. 1. ... Rh3 is bad. Here is the continuation to win the piece. 1. Qh7+ Kg1 2. Rxd3 Bxd3 3. Qxd3 winning the Bishop. but if white moves from d3 to h3, black queen is trapped.... whats the point of gaining a bishop when u will lose ur queen? :dontknow:
