IPL has been good for Vijay this yr. But I'm sure everyone here secretly agrees that IPL is no barometer to measure talent.

if that is true why is everyone desperate to see uthappa back? he had an ordinary FC season and a rocking success in IPL . It would be more apt to say IPL is not the only barometer. IPL and FC season are probably what we have at the moment and if the A team tours more often perhaps we could gauge comfort levels in foreign soil as well

Vijay is class. Is more of a test match player but is till a dammn good player. Threads likehis are silly. He has technique etc to succedd. Not like rubbish like Pathan and Jadeja who are just not good enough and will never be good enough

He got dropped from the last ODI and thats it for a while. Its really sad that another classical player bites the dust, after VVS.
