I used to rate SL pitches better than India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, b/c they usually had something for the bowlers, but from the recent score cards it seems like they are just becoming usual sub-continental roads. Was pitch really dead flat or bowlers were out of it? Will need to catch some highlights to analyze.

"Measly Win" :hysterical: It wasn't the win that makes the difference. it was the manner in which india lost that makes the difference. First off, they get their ass whooped by a second string BP XI then lose by 10 wickets in 3 days play. Besides, I am not from the little island (Although SL is one of my favorite teams), I just dont like fans who never seem to agree that the opposition could ever be better than them. its always the pitch, this and that. For god sakes have some humility in losses people. Why cant it be possible for you to accept that the opposition played better than you.

Will need to catch some highlights to analyze.[/quote'] It seem that pitch is dead flat when SL bats for the first 2 days, then it becomes a lively pitch for the 3r and 4th day when India bats. Then it becomes a dead pitch again on day 5 when SL bats again. Some magical pitch they got in SL.
