u wont be able to tell if he is a FTB..because dont think SL has any away test matches for quite some time..LOL Regarding Mahela..think he has improved recently in away ODi's/T20s...dont know about tests as we havent played a test outside asia for a loooooooooong time....but in his current form mahela has played quite well and think he is no longer a FTB in the shorter versions even outside SL Mahanama is the biggest FTB & Samare is also one..

The point is this is not a T20 match in Chennai on a patta. And India has historically been the BEST team to debut/improve your record against after Bangladesh.

He is yet to play on wickets that has something in it for the bowlers. Let's see how he bats on that wickets. IMO he will be very vulnerable against the right arm pacer who can bring the ball in. He sometimes struggles against mithun's outgoing deliveries, If a bowler can bring the ball in, i think he is going to struggle big time.

It's pathetic to call someoen FTB, speciallly to player like Jayawardene who has scored plenty of runs to be called a Sri Lankan Great when he retires. It's best we give credit to the players rather then talk crap about them..

Parnavitarana scored a century in the last test where we collapsed to an innings defeat which obviously wasn't a flat track. I agree with tics. Sounds silly calling their players FTBs when we are getting our asses handed out to us.

we did not lose by innings. Our tailenders batted for more than hour. It was flat track by all means.

SL is full of FTBs. But the so called Indian legends cant even avoid 10 wicket defeat after one and a half days were washed off in a flat track. I would take a FTB over these failures anyday.

I expect draws on a flat track, not a game to be over in 4 days, unless you consider our batting to be total cr@p which it isn't cause it has guys like Sehwag/Gambhir/Dravid/SRT/Laxman. All pitches look flat when our trundlers hop skip and jump to bowl their deadly deliveries.
