Could Raina be the real deal?

Raina has ability to defend the ball very strongly. Just observe his foot movement when he is defending ball. His bat and both are very close together. So there is no chance of bat-pad catch. And also he aggressive batsmen which we have seen him ODIs and T20s. If he continues like this...Indian middle order becomes more and more stronger. Really Raina is superb batsmen.

Extremely impressive start, playing away from home under pressure situations in all three innings. Yes, he will be tested by good pace attacks away from Asia, but which batsman doesn't have a weakness? He is a hard worker (which is very important at the highest level, talent alone is not enough) and I am sure he will find a way to combat it. But what can't be taught is having that ability to make the most of your opportunities and performing under pressure, well done to him.
