Why selectors are not selecting RP Singh?

RP Singh... one of the bowling asset for Team India. He has ability swing the ball both sides. He has special skill like bouncer or Yorker....I think he is better option to Team India to replace Zaheer khan in future. But Selectors should give more opportunities to him to prove him self. Selectors should select him in upcoming Tri-series in Srilanka instead of Abhimanyu Mithun. Because only 8 months are there for 2011 world cup which held in sub-continent. So selectors should not make experiments while selecting team. RP Singh,Irfan Pathan, are the options as Changing bowlers in first 15overs.Selectors should not forget them because...they proved themselves as match winners.Zaheer,RP,Ishanth/Praveen kumar will be a better combination for team India in the world cup 2011.

Pace is important. He has lost his pace. I remember him clocking 140 during IPLII, where he was the highest wicket-taker. Since then, his career has gone downhill.

Wish he could get that speed and control back.

Absolutely. His turn made him deadly. Just saw his video here on ICF a few days back. What turn man, what turn!
they should pick him for the south africa tour.
Yep. Along with Sree & Ishant. An African safari is the best tour to lift the dropping spirits of fast bowlers. We all know what Sree did there in the First Test a few years back.

Q: Why are the selectors not selecting bowler X? A: He was good then, his pace dropped, accuracy was poor, no more swings and was ineffective Q: I think we should go back to him, don't you think? A: It seems that way given how poorly the replacements are performing Rinse, Repeat

If we want good quality fast bowlers then Either BCCI must improve our domestic cricket or BCCI should allow our bowlers to play in county cricket in England. Even great Wasim Akram says that county cricket helps a lot.
