Fed still the all-time benchmark for the time being, but Rafa is the clear world #1 right now. If he wins the Aus Open in Jan. he will have competed the "Rafa Slam", similar to the "Serena Slam" in 2002-03. How fortunate are we to be able to watch two great champions right now! I'm spoilt because I've seen Borg, McEnroe, Connors, Lendl, Becker, Edberg, Wilander, Sampras and Agassi. As for the "new breed", Djokovic is clearly coming, del Potro needs to come back, Soderling is hard to gauge, and Murray may never arrive.
