some mindless bowling changes, looked like he wanted world to see duminy can bowl, sathish can turn his arm over for no apparent reason and then if a captain plays sathish over tiwari or abhishek nayar ,then he is doing something beyond cricketing intelligence

Abhishek Nayar isn't even a part of the squad.

You see he is smarter than you, that is why he is not playing injured players and players not in the squad:aetsch:

80/0 and they had NO BUSINESS making a mess of things today.
Umm, how exactly did his "poor" captaincy affect the outcome of this match (from batting perspective) ? Did you expect him to chase down 180 odd by himself ? And for those questioning his bowlers' rotation policy have not seen last year's IPL. Tendulkar said it was important for him to change the bowlers over or two after so that he doesn't allow the batsman to settle in and get used to the bowlers' pace/style. This was effective strategy in last year's IPL and I guess today was one off day given that his strike bowlers were coming off injury.

what worked last year will not work everytime sachin's never been able to think on his feet as a captain like ganguly or dhoni, hence his poor record

What poor record? having known match fixers in the team who worked to undermine him might have contributed a bit to that, dot you think? How much success did thinking on the feet bring to Ganguly with a team like KKR? At least MI did better than KKR

Tendulkar not bowling mclaren was a real mystery! and mclaren wasnt even pleased with this, one can see when he came out to bat! needed 12 of 2 balls to draw the game and he plyed a lil dab shot at the offside! nyways tendulkar is the best bat ever but captainship is not his thing!

Umm' date=' how exactly did his "poor" captaincy affect the outcome of this match (from batting perspective) ? Did you expect him to chase down 180 odd by himself ?[/quote'] Umm, isn't MI a "IF SACHIN FALLS, WE ALL FOLLOW" team? This isn't the first time we have seen a collapse like this. Its been the case for 2.5 years now! A good captain would have arrested this development long back. He has great players in the team but he doesn't know what to do with them, most of the times. Look at the way the Lions marshalled their troops yesterday. Chokers. They only have themselves to blame. How much is the team going to rely on one man? Is he the only player in his team who has to save the day for the team? Where is the team management? Where is the think-tank? Why haven't roles been assigned to the players? Bowling was :fail:. But they touched 80/0 and were on course to pull this one off with ease. But "sensible batting" seems to be a term that only the Warriors (from today's match) seem to know.
