Can you recommend a good utility for calendar and/or alarm software for PC? If you have used it, that will be great to know your feedback. Simple one (simple functionality) is ok, but should be reliable and ideally not take too much memory/resources. Just basic setting reminders, events , recurring events etc and need audible alarm plus popup reminder. Windows PC. Thanks! It should not require a "login" like yahoo calendar or google. Without any login is preferred, just regular login to PC/desktop done, and it should function irrespective if I have logged into google or not

I was about to suggest Google when I read that last part. If you dont mind the login part, nothing beats Gooogle calendar. Once you set up the events/appointments, it will even send you SMS reminders if you are not online/on your PC. Works perfect for me. However, if you dont want google, MS outlook is a great option. I use the 2007 version (syncs with Google brilliantly).

I have received a few alarm clock software recently in one of my software websites. They are submitted by third party software vendors and I have not tested them myself. I can give you the links to a couple of them. I am giving you the direct link to the original software vendors without routing through my own website. Please feel free to check them out if they work out. But I have not tested them myself but most of the software I approve are genuine quality software and so they should probably not contain any spyware/malware though I do not guarantee it unless I check myself. This is the first one http://bluefive.pair.com/alarm.htm You can trust the above one for sure though as it is approved and recommended by CNET which can be trusted 100%. One of the other popular alarm clocks submitted to my website was: http://www.cinnamonsoftware.com/freeware.htm There were quite a few downloads of this clock in my website though I have not received any feedback or review till now. I would not guarantee it fully but it might surely be worth a try.
