i dont understand why everyone keeps talking about his captaincy. that is not the issue here. ganguly was a good captain but was removed because of poor form. the same should be applied here. it just takes an average captain to manage a team of matchwinners. its not a specialist position.

I agree with KT, by far the wicket keeper best batsman we've had and arguably the best in the world currently. Asking for him to be dropped based on a few games is wrist slitting at its best

lol, In my opinion Dhoni is the best captain, afterall he did win us a WC too to boot with all the Test Wins against SA, Aus, ENG, SL and the one days and Tri Series wins, Asia Cup I could go on and on, all in just a span of 3 years :D

I'd say dhoni is like :punter:, will reap us maximum results when Sach, VVS etc are playing and will continue to dominate the limited overs arena. Heck I'd back him to lead us to the world cup victory this year. :)

Right players need to get oppurtunities. If Jadeja or Rohit makes it to the WC squad, and plays even the best Captain in the world cant save us.

Sometimes you say win/loss ratio doent give the perfect picture about captains ability and then you talk about bettering previous captains records,anyways Dhoni has already bettered most of previous captain's records

Not just tontee tontee, It was a tournament which involved more than 2 countries and for a change with Dhoni we not only entered the final but also won. IMO Dhoni has already bettered what captains before him have done in LOI's He has also had a brilliant run in Tests at home, ab baki hai toh his away record, which I may add, even if he manages to draw, will better what captains before him have done. :D

It does matter when you have toured all the teams. I Have never said stats dont matter, anyone who has wins in SA, ENG, AUS must be a decent captain. No matter how great his team was/is.
