The Rugby Club is proud to advise that the speaker at this years Annual luncheon is the Legend of Australian Cricket Mr. Richie Benaud. Richie needs no introduction, having been in the public eye for over 60 years as both a player and commentator. He played 63 tests, 28 as Captain from 1952 to 1964, taking 248 wickets and scoring 2,201 runs. Richie was awarded the OBE in 1962. Richie has confirmed that the 2010-2011 season will be his last in the commentary box. This will be your last chance to see the great man speak. ABC Radio's Jim 'James' Maxwell will interview Richie at the Luncheon. There will also be auctions, live and silent plus raffles during the day. Plus Guest Speaker Mike Whitney. The Luncheon is being held at The Four Seasons Hotel, George Street Sydney starting at 12 noon on November 22nd.
