Criteria for evaluating a Bowler

Just checked - Waqar 'shiver in boots' Younis has one 5 wicket haul in 23 tests against Australia, India, and South Africa. That too coming on a track where fast bowlers feasted. As a postscript, I feel terrible about wasting my time discussing Bradman/Tendulkar with people who think Waqar 'shiver in boots' Younis is a better bowler than McGrath. Glad I've stopped that venture. :hysterical: The only 50+ averaging batsman that Waqar 'shiver in boots' Younis dismissed more than 3 times in his career was Andy Flower : http://stats.cricinfo.com/ci/engine/player/43543.html?class=1;template=results;type=bowling;view=batsman_summary

Or the footage put an abrupt end to your and your tribes trolling as it was a bit too difficult to handle even for a accomplished troll like you ?

Can we discuss Waqar 'shiver in boots' Younis greater than McGrath here? Apologies for referring to some off topic stuff in my earlier post.

 Waqar 'shiver in boots' is greater than McGrath after taking one 5 wicket haul in 23 tests against Australia, India, and South Africa! Oh and the reason I don't respond to your trolling is because you don't have even a basic comprehension of the Stats that you peddle around. All your so called 10 points and more have been blown to bits here : http://www.indiancricketfans.com/showpost.php?p=1013411&postcount=1042 But if you don't pick up a Stats textbook and try to educate yourself about interpreting the numbers you churn out, there is very little that I can do to drag you out of your ignorant pit. So we are still stuck on point no.1 of that discussion till you can educate your self about analysis. Or present to me someone whom you have 'consulted' in private to work through the details face to face with me. EDIT : The sledging part is not there yet, because it was a recent introduction.

Video footage topic has already been addressed in various other posts and threads by numerous posters. Please respond there. Keep this thread to showing the level of moronity that you are going to come up with to show Waqar 'shiver in boots' Younis is greater than McGrath.

BTW, in contrast to Waqar 'shiver in boots' Younis who managed to dismiss only one batsman averaging more than 50 more than 3 times, here is McGrath's portfolio : Lara - 15 times ('Shiver in Boots' would need multiple reincarnations to do that) Kallis - 6 times Tendulkar - 6 times Dravid - 5 times Chanderpaul - 5 times Laxman(not 50 but a nemesis for McGrath's side) - 5 times Pietersen - 5 times Smith - 5 times Younis Khan - 5 times Sehwag - 4 times http://stats.cricinfo.com/ci/engine/player/6565.html?class=1;template=results;type=bowling;view=batsman_summary

You know what happens when you start hurling insults dont you ? You will get your online ***** spanked ruthlessly in absolute vile language. Dont give a flying fk what anyone thinks. And I will keep doing it till you learn your lesson or you grow up which ever is earlier. Talk decently ... i.e if you even want to talk in the first place. If you want to troll go find someone else.
:fear: Are you going to heap the forum with even more moronity? In that case, let's stick to the proving Younis greater than McGrath. My guts are already close to splitting in anticipation of what you will come up will there. Oh and there is nothing new in the latest videos which has already not been addressed before, but if there is keep it in that thread instead of derailing this one which has nothing to do with videos and comparisons across eras. If there is a worthwhile point, someone will respond. Don't go trolling from one thread to another begging for responses.

Perhaps you need to take your own advice first ? Heres what you said a few posts above : As a postscript, I feel terrible about wasting my time discussing Bradman/Tendulkar with people who think Waqar 'shiver in boots' Younis is a better bowler than McGrath. Glad I've stopped that venture
I've already apologized for that. So let's hear why you think Waqar is greater than McGrath. :hysterical:

If you look at it, Strike rate is exactly equal to average divided by economy rate . Which basically says, SR is directly proportional to average And if you are looking too much into Strike rates, then you are actually giving unnecessary importance to econ. rates.
