saneindian Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 10 boxers in qf/sf!! WOW. Nw lets pray they all move to the semis. This is one sport where the govt. needs to do all it can. Some of these boxers are definite medal prospects in the 2012 olympics. Sania making up for Saina's loss. She's now defeated the 6th seed and the 2nd seed in last 2 rounds. Hopefulyl she keeps playing like that in the next 2 rounds and in the team events too. Best news is of course from the hockey fields. A slot in the semis, a likely semi finals against Malaysia, team looking in great form.

Sad piece of news: Our rowers used the equipment they had bought 8 years ago!! Had to live in a tin shed in Hyderabad during preparations. Kudos to these guys for fighting it out despite all odds.
