If you love the noise and chatter, goto North Goa If you want peace, solitude and do nothing but relax- goto South Goa - beach of AGONDA Palolem beach in South Goa is getting slowly the north goa way (crowded) i stay 7 to 8 days in Agonda EVERY year for the past 4 years I will mention specifics (1) stay 4 days here, at Agonda Chattai Beach Huts http://www.chattai.co.in/accomodationa.htm They are beach huts RIGHT on the beach, not the concrete hotel room but bamboo thatched huts with basic amenities, NO tv and NO ac best season to visit is December to February end (2) Cola Beach (locals call is KHOLA beach) (about 9 kms from Agonda beach in south goa) stay for atleast 1 night here, mobile dont work here - again no tv - no ac http://www.bluelagoongoa.com/gallery-1.html another one at this place is http://dwarkagoa.com/ here a freshwater lagoon meets the sea - the scenery is breathtaking, food is awesome too pre-bookings recommended, again : best season to visit is December to February end These are all temporary structures Take this tour, believe me u would want to come to these places again and again and again . (like me) Both these places have ample liquor, GREAT sea food, and good food
