Tape Ball Cricket

Oh yes it's very fun. The ball swings a lot if the tape rips from one side of the seam. I also used to ball cutters during my playing days. The trick is to have more layers of tape for the seam (grip) and obviously the know how of making the ball talk :) You must've played it with other Pakistanis I take it?
In Dubai, mostly Indians but we had 1-2 Iranis and Pakistanis playing with us as well (long time back). I did not know how to swing the ball with the tape ball (mostly spin) but a Pakistani friend of mine showed me how to in the States.

because people could afford an actual ball.
and a tape ball is an "actual ball" + "electric tape". I wonder which one is more expensive...do the math I personally rank the experience of playing with a Tape ball right next to playing with the real cricket ball. It swings, spins, has pace, has bounce, travels long distances in air and over all good effect on the quality of cricket played.
