Switchblade Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 Went to feroz shah kotla stadium with my cousin in 2008 and saw the India vs Oz test match when we left Gauti got out on 206 so i wanted 2 see Dhoni bat coz he was the latest sensation at that time but when me and my cousin reached the stadium he was out but we we were treated to some brilliant batting by VVS LAXMAN he is a superb timer of the ball i still remember the flick he played that went for 4 i mean i was in awe of that shot Kumble also batted well and made 40 i think but the real highlight for me was Vvs batting brilliant timer of the ball
Switchblade Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 Also saw the ipl match Delhi vs Mumbai was supporting DD sadly my favourite Gambhir got injured though at that time i didnt knew abt it but Tendulkar really batted superbly he is the best even in t20 he didnt slogged one bit he just played normal shots while rest of them have to slog he made 63 or 68 in which he was dropped by Amit Mishra and he received a lot of abuse frm my section of the crowd but when Sach got out then Saurabh Tiwary and Raydu smashed the DD bowlers apart. Viru made 23 in that game and after that everybody was going back to the dug out quickly even though DD lost i enjoyed Sachins brilliant batting:hatsoff:
