Maybe Dhoni should have a chat with Sammy regarding how Sammy gave Bishoo enough "confidence". What do you guys reckon? Will this performance have an affect on India's combination against windies with Chawla getting another game as Bishoo comfortably outbowled Benn and Dhoni might think that leg spinner is the way to go (

True, Chawla gave over 7 runs an over against England in his 10 overs. Even against Ireland he gave over 7 runs per over in his 8 overs.

How may matches he needs in a premier ICC event to "Gain his Confidence"? I've never understood what has "confidence level" to do with bowling No balls? I can understand fast bowlers can overstep but a SPINNER? Has he been contacted by Majid Mazhar?

A debutant cannot be considered inferior just because he is a debutant. All great players were debutants too in their first match.

True :smiley: So what the guy gives away a few 6s in free hits. After all cricket is much more than run and wkts. Anyone heard the adages "Cricket is all about confidence" or "Batting/Bowling are all about confidence". It's just that Chawla has taken these maxims to heart. I think the bowling and batting should have another stat - "Confidence" so that ppl can see the all important factor next to the wkt or runs column. I am confident in predicting that Chawla's confidence factor is much higher than any player who ever played cricket. In fact Chawla's confidence is so off the charts that in the new cricket games (EA Cricket or Codemasters newer version) the confidence bar for batsman or bowler in the game will be renamed "Chawla Bar" :winky:
