Chennai crowd has always been knowledgeable and broad minded. But most of the comments cited in this article are just childish and seem to be made by those noobies(and females) who throng the stadium purely for entertainment and masala value rather than Cricket itself .

No the comments are not stupid. Yo don't know how we feel as the pariah and what that does to ones spirit!
I am not pulling you down, but I really cannot connect myself nor the people I know who are passionate about(and played some) Cricket with those published comments.

Nothing wrong with the comments. Their wins against Aus and SL were indeed commendable, given the backdrop of scandals that they came into the tournament with.

"Pakistan won the Twenty20 World Cup because India refused to pick their players for the Indian Premier League and they were out to prove to the world that their players are the best Twenty20 players," he added. It was interesting to see everyone nodding with approval, as
another added: "Yes. Just see they may carry the World Cup to Pakistan for having denied them to be the hosts. "It will be a big blow to India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh who ditched them from being hosts."
Meanwhile, a female listening to them, said: "If India does not win, I want Pakistan to win. They were written off as the worst team before coming here. Look at the way they play. The spirit with which they play is something every nation should try and copy."

I do not expect my opinion to match a Paki's - try Bujjigadu from Hyderabad, he might have a similar mindset to yours. Let's leave it at that.

As a cricket lover, I will appreciate all good performances, including those by Pakistan. But as a sporting rival, no I wouldn't want Pakistan to win in any match.
