the feeling that we won the world cup really kicked in for me when yuvraj was crying into tendulkar's shoulder and the moment when i was fighting off the tears was when tendulkar was being carried around by kohli, raina, yusuf with an indian flag in one hand. the perfect finish to a glorious career

Tendulkar has sealed his legacy as the Greatest Batsman and a True Patriotic Indian . I just hope he goes on to play Tests for a few more years and quits odis completely to avoid toll on his body . He has already won the trophy that matters so playing in meaningless Odis can shorten his Test Career.

he has 2+ years more in ODI though he can retire from ODI as now we have Raina/Kohli so he can prolong his test career though sachin can still play for 2+ years in ODI' date=' he was almost the highest run scorer in the tournament at the age of 38 which tells a lot[/quote'] does he really need to renounce any version at the moment? i like our current arrangement: he plays in about 1 out of every 3 ODIs we play but he is in full attendance in the Tests. I would prefer that than have him retire from ODIs all together.
