akshayxyz Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 Basit Ali: "He became involved in the Pakistani match fixing scandal which ended the career of Saleem Malik. Ali and Rashid Latif accused Pakistani players of match-fixing as well as facing allegations against themselves[4]. He was forced into a premature retirement." He must be some expert on fixing. He can't be wrong. I am waiting for the day he says.. "Indians are doing exactly the way I did."
akshayxyz Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 Its an insult to say that BCCI fixed 2011 world cup only. They have been always so powerful. 1983 WC final also has 'fixed' written all over. How can a champion team fail to chase 189 runs, Richards gets out, when the match was in their hands... Give the credit wherever it is due. - BCCI brought us glory in 1983 and now in 2011. And other times, they just sold off to other countries, as we were a bit low on cash, and SRT used to demand lot of money for his supply of batting goods.
akshayxyz Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 Why it took 28 years? well it was just about the time required to collect enough cash to buy the World cup. What a master plan.
