Fletcher against medium pacers

Sometime back i heard fletcher did not think much of hoggard as he not quick and he believes in pace.so he might change something in indian cricket.

Yeah Akhter was certainly a world class bowler who used to fake injury when he was not bowling well.

Couldnt have said it better...whats the benefit of all the pace in the world if you cant take wickets? Much better to be a god of line and length (McGrath) than getting hit all around the pitch with 100MPH deliveries.

Imagine if teams were made based on strike rate...some countries would fill their teams with "Beasts" that have 600 strike rate...oh and they get out after 2 balls.

He will have to work with what he got , if medium pacers can lead you to no 1 test spot , I will feel lucky to have them rather than a fast bowler who is injured half a time , can't even play for 5 full days. A 130-135 -140 with good control is good enough , thats what our bowlers have proved . and 145 that eventually leads to no control at all is not useful ,, thats what our batsmen have proved.

Well said! Seriously our batsmen have finished off the career of Tait. After Perth he went into depression and retired from Tests. After Mohali he retired from ODIs. He's yet to play a T20 against us, no?

We prefer trundlers to showponies and spot fixers. We are number 1 in the world in test matches and world up winner in ODIs.. Have your phhassttt bowlers earned you anything other then embarrasment..
