The game can change over a span of few overs. In the CSK match, CSK just started tightening the screw when it started raining. In today's match, YKP has just started building a strong innings. They might have scored a decent total. By the way RCB was losing wickets towards the end, KKR might have made a match out of a total of 160/170.

So the RR was always below 6.

Interrupted matches don't paint the whole picture. If CSK had taken two quick wickets, the pressure would have been back on KKR. With Dhoni's team, it's not over till it's over. Consider this scenario - there are two teams, A and B. Team A bats first, hits 151 runs. At end of 11 overs, Team B is 88/1. CRR: 8, RRR: 7.70. Team B needs 66 runs in 9 overs with 9 wickets in hand. Let's say there is rain interruption and Team B is declared winner. You'd think it's fair, right. They only need 60 odd runs with 9 wickets in hand. Their RRR is < CRR. Piece of cake, rt? That's the first game of this IPL. Team A = CSK, Team B = KKR. Team A won the match by 2 runs.

Then I must get optimistic of my Microsoft Chances next year. There were loads of difference between the CSK vs KKR match and DC vs MI match. DC scored 20 runs more than what CSK did. No matter what the surface is, in a 20-20 game required rate below 6 runs an over is a piece of Cake for sides to chase down. Plus DC had a great start with the ball too, by the ha;lf way stage in the MI innings they lost 5 wickets, By the half way stage in the KKR innings they lost only too and the required rate was well below 6 runs and over. You are comparing chalk and cheese.
