Zooter Posted June 3, 2007 Author Share Posted June 3, 2007 Yes, the Soviet Union would have dissolved by itself--in fact, ... the very same international lenders that I've been talking about in my other thread were the same folks who were manipulating the Soviet Economy. The only reason Reagan spent all that money on is because he was convinced to do so by the banking elite. More expenditures from the federal governement means more debt. More debt means more money for the private banks as the system is private. All those conflicts you mentioned could have avoided. It's just that the people pulling the strings are the bankers and not the true policy makers in gov't. Hence our current, UNENDING ... war "on terror." Whatever the hell that means?!?!
