ch1234 Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 KKR's managment has been poor : first they didn't gives any opportunity to Ten : at the beginning of IPL gambhir played with 2/3 foreigners where Ten was benching . + they never use his bowling , he is a good T20 bowler. Then the case of sakib , he doesn't get as much match as he should have played , + batting at the tail. + they give to much respect to Morgan , who has failed miserably I think player must be selected according to their ability not their nationality + KKR ability to lost winning game : 1st game against csk and the last againt MI Yeah..lot of these like avoidable things lead to their downfall.. Gambhir's attitude towards Ryan and Shakib were not understandable.
ch1234 Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 Not talking about you' date=' but I mean if you have 21 runs to go, even if he had gone for 12, seems like KKR would have lost the #2 spot. Yes, he bowled like garbage for sure, but the main issue was that the coveted #2 spot was lost.[/quote'] Not blaming Balaji alone.. That game against Chennai which should have won easily, had Tiwary kept his cool.. That unpredidctable loss against Kochi in their first encounter..Etcetra etcetra...
ch1234 Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 Btw' date=' I heard the commentator say that KKR had to win by more than 10 runs to make up for the NRR difference between the two teams. So even if KKR had won by 4 runs or whatever the difference was before the last ball, that may not hve been enough for the 2nd spot. Is that correct or bogus?[/quote'] As far as I know, a mere win was enuff for KKR to go to # 2.. They had a better runrate than Chennai, going into the match.. Also, they scored 175 when they batted
DomainK Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 KKR did extremely well to reach where they reached. Remember how they started off?
