DeXteR Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 Why was this guy dropped. I think they should have given him a run here after that SA series where he could not score a lot. But he should have been persisted here in WI in tests. I think some other new bloke will make easy runs against this WI and he wont be getting his chances soon.
achilles Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 He is injured. er..cause he is injured??? GM... where have you been?
Sir_Afridi Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 Because he failed both times when given the oppurtunity. Averaged in 30s against Aus and 10 in SA.
achilles Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 Because he failed both times when given the oppurtunity. Averaged in 30s against Aus and 10 in SA. Eh? If average was the criteria, why is Afridi still playing?
Sooda Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 I read yesterday on Cricinfo that Pujara recovered from his injury, so I hope that was incorrect...
achilles Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 I read yesterday on Cricinfo that Pujara recovered from his injury' date=' so I hope that was incorrect...[/quote'] No. He might be gaining in on fitness. The OP doesn't cite any sources.
Gunner_Mania Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 Eh? If average was the criteria' date=' why is Afridi still playing?[/quote'] because he is playing for Pakistan..
Silva Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 kinda of stupid to talk averages after 3 test matches, especially considering one was on a pitch where every batsman failed apart from vvs.
