lol if not for the overs lost due to rain' date=' SL would have easily got a 3-0 spanking[/quote'] lol... the first match was heading for a drew until all sl batsmen had a fit & got out and handed an unlikely victory to England, wen we got 400+ in the first innings the 2nd test was the only one where we had a chance of loosing.. but the 3rd test .. not so sure.. we had scored 330+ with still 5 wickets remaining & both the batsmen were well set when the rain came...so guess not

Will England look strong as this if they are playing in the sub continent against Inidia & SL ? guess not 2. will India be the same team if they are playing in the sub continent ? guess not Compared to India in India..yes..SL looks weak..but I dont think SL looks weak if they are playing England in SL... Since we are playing the aussies now & if we loose the test series to them then..yes I will accept that we have become weak.. the way the things are going now our ODI looks weak as well... first match. sri lanka phucking lost the match. enuf said. couldn't even manage 100 in the 2nd innings. lmfao i can't believe you're defending that capitulation :hysterical: second match. imo this one is where sri lanka salvaged some pride. but as soon as skies got gloomy and the ball started moving around, well you know, the same old story. third match. sri lanka were leading by 140 odd runs with 5 chips down, with the brittlest of lower orders and you call that what? :cantstop::cantstop::cantstop::cantstop::cantstop:

They appear to have some good reserve spinners but continue playing hopeless bowlers like Herath. I've not been impressed with the younger batsmen though. Thirimanne looked mediocre in England and Chandimal isn't as good as what he is made out to be. Any other young players coming through?
